ASHPAC Workshop - Maintaining Balance, Self-Identity and Relationships as the Parent of a Special Needs Child by Kate J. Stone, Psy.D.

This workshop will delve into some of the real issues with which parents of special needs children struggle, and it will strive to provide real strategies for managing these struggles one day at a time. Kate J. Stone, Psy.D is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Natick, MA. She has a varied background in psychotherapy in both the outpatient and clinical setting. Her professional focus centers around the health and treatment of caregivers of children with special needs, panic and anxiety disorders, chronic procrastination and avoidance, pregnancy and infertility, and struggles with loss of self-identity. Dr. Stone is also a mother of two girls, one with significant special needs.
