Management Information Systems Department (MIS)/ Information Technology, provides direction, support and implementation of the computer-based technologies within Ashland's municipality. In addition to supporting the main Financial Application Systems for the Town, support extends to various factions including Public Safety, Public Works, Community Center, School Business Administration and the Public Library.

Roles of this department include data disaster recovery, server & network administration, telecommunications support, staff training, computer help desk services and website design.

Assuring Ashland's Municipal Technologies are managed as cost-effectively as possible while providing the most modern tools for residential and commercial business remains a top priority for this department.
