The Planning Department provides administrative and advisory roles on land use, planning, zoning, subdivision, code enforcement and other regulatory programs, all of which guide future growth and development within the Town of Ashland. The Primary functions involve evaluating land use proposals (e.g. rezoning, conditional use permits, subdivisions, etc.) submitted by the general public, businesses and other entities; this office ultimately provides guidance and direction to planning, zoning and development issues, regulations and policies. Visit Town of Ashland's Charter & Bylaws online for more information on regulatory details. And don't miss our Document Center section for meeting agendas and currently available documents pertaining to Planning Department including MAPS.
