National Citizen Survey

The Town is in the process of conducting the National Citizen Survey, a community-wide survey focused on getting input from residents that will track progress and help shape the future of Ashland. If your household was not randomly selected to participate in the town-wide survey you can still provide valuable feedback. Just follow this link: Opt-in survey

The survey will ask questions regarding quality of life, Ashland's community characteristics, services provided by the Town, and community priorities. We believe that Ashland is already a great community, but the results of this survey will help us make it even better. It will allow us to benchmark progress, make comparisons to towns across the country, and identify current and future priorities.

The survey is open to everyone. However, if your household was one of the homes randomly selected to participate please utilize the link that was included on the postcard. The National Citizen Survey utilizes a scientific method to randomly select participants in such a way that the results provide a balanced representation of our entire community. If you did receive a postcard but haven't had time to complete the survey, we would love to hear from you! We are hoping to surpass our response rate from the 2016 survey (which was 33%).

If you have any questions about the survey please contact Jenn Ball, Assistant Town Manager, at jball@ashlandmass.com or 508-532-7901.
