Greetings friends, colleagues, and family near and far!
The 124th Boston Marathon is April 20, 2020, and I have been selected to run for Ashland, the second town on this historic route. This will be my 4th Boston and it never ceases to amaze me how meaningful this race is to myself, and literally thousands of others- some who are new to Boston, others who have traveled from around the world and runners everywhere. There is something special about putting in the work to train, raising much needed funds for local town projects that make a true impact. From adding computers for the STEM lab to helping seniors get meals or helping a family pay for soccer fees so their kids will have a safe, healthy activity- the money raised makes Ashland a place where families can connect and help each other build a welcoming and supportive community. Here’s a summary of where your donation/support for my fundraising goes: https://www.ashlandmass.com/321/Supported-Programs-Services
Please help me reach my goal of $3000 and contribute what you can. Some companies match funds so that can really help! Knowing how many people gave of themselves to get me to race day is powerful motivation for each of the 26.2 miles.
