ADA Self Evaluation and Transition Plan

The Massachusetts Office on Disability awarded the Town of Ashland a grant in December 2019 to develop an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self- Evaluation and Transition Plan. This plan aims to create a more accessible community by identifying and prioritizing areas in Town programming and facilities that need improvement. 

Hired by the Town of Ashland, Institute for Human Centered Design has worked closely with many town departments since the February 2020 to create this plan. The final plan is available below, having been accepted by the Select Board on March 17, 2021.
