My name is Lindsay Halliday and I’m honored to be running the 2022 Boston Marathon representing the the Town of Ashland. I have lived in Ashland for three years with my husband and my 5-year-old and 3-year-old twins. In 2020, when we entered Covid lockdown, I found a renewed love for running outdoors in the early mornings. There is something very special about being the first footprints in fresh snow or watching an autumn sunrise when you reach the top of a hill. Running has become fundamental to my physical and mental health. I am honored to be raising money for the Ashland BAA grant, which funds so many worthy causes around our town. To name just a few, these grant funds have been used as financial assistance for community members in need through the Ashland Emergency Fund, funding for the Ashland Parkinson’s Support Group, and support for Ashland Youth Sports. I am also dedicating my run to my mom, Diane Krell, who always challenged herself and tried new things. I plan on doing the same when I run my first marathon.
Thank you so much for your support and I hope to high five some of you along the course! See you on April 18th!
