In an effort to get more information out to the public with regards to a new joint public safety building for our Police and Fire Departments, we have established a dedicated website to the project.
Currently the website hosts the 2008 needs assessment, the 2017-2018 site selection study and opinion on probable costs, and documents some of the existing conditions at the sites. It also contains news articles about the project.
The new website can be found here: http://ashlandpublicsafetyproject.com/
The Public Safety Building Committee is looking for members. One the website you also have the opportunity to fill out a Talent Bank application if you wish to serve.
I hope that you visit the site often as we put out more information about the project. And don't forget to stop by the Open House at the downtown Police and Fire Stations on August 11 between 1 and 4pm.
