ESL Conversation Group @ the Ashland Library
Monday, February 12, 2024
We're thrilled to have Martha Coleman joining us to lead our English as a Second Language Conversation Group here in Ashland! This group is created to help improve your English conversational skills, meet new people, and learn new English vocabulary. In each meeting, you will bring topics you want to discuss. In addition to your own topics, we will discuss current events, issues, and interests. We welcome anyone who wants to join. If you hope to improve your English skills then this is the group for you!
About our Conversation Leader:
Martha graduated from Bates College in May of 2023 with degrees in French and Francophone Studies, American Studies, and Education. Throughout her college experience, she worked in Lewiston, Maine’s public schools, first as a volunteer virtually supporting a high school ELL class in 2020-2021 and later as a student teacher leading French 1, 3 & 4 during her senior year. After graduation, Martha moved to Ashland with her partner, and she loves the community and connection she has found through the ESL conversation group at Ashland Public Library. She is excited to continue supporting this group as a discussion leader in the coming months.
No Registration required, just walk-in if you can make it.
