Virtual - What's on Your TBR pile? with author Mateo Askaripour *For Adults

Wednesday, May 18, 2022

We're thrilled with our monthly series - What's On Your TBR Pile? - with some of our favorite authors! TBR is "to be read" and we all have stacks we know we can't read in our lifetime. But, with a little help from our favorite authors, we can refine or (goodness!) add to our piles. Today we hear from novelist Mateo Askaripour (whose "Black Buck" is a must read!). Wonder what he's read and loved lately? Join us!

The way it works - we'll spend some time with Mateo hearing all about his favorite books and authors. Then, we'll have a few minutes to hear all about his upcoming books - it's a total win-win for us! Bring a pen and paper, you'll be wanting to write down all of Mateo's recs.

You can buy signed book by Mateo at Bank Square Books. Click on the link, buy, and say you want your books signed in the notes.

MATEO ASKARIPOUR’s work aims to empower people of color to seize opportunities for advancement, no matter the obstacle. He was chosen as one of Entertainment Weekly’s “10 rising stars to make waves” and reps the Rhode Island Writers Colony to the fullest. His debut novel BLACK BUCK was an instant New York Times bestseller and a Read With Jenna Today Show book club pick. He lives in Brooklyn. Follow him on Instagram or Twitter at @AskMateo.

Please register for this virtual event. You'll receive the zoom link in the confirmation and reminder emails.
