Welcome to our Friday Night Film Discussions! Today, we’ll be discussing “Truman” in which a man diagnosed with terminal cancer sets out with his friend to finalize funeral arrangements, settle his accounts and, most importantly, find a home for his beloved dog, Truman.
The way it works:
PRIOR to the meeting (whenever works for your schedule), watch "Truman" on Kanopy - one of the library's video streaming service - and then come to the meeting prepared to discuss!

Synopsis:
In this heartfelt and surprisingly humorous film, terminally ill actor Julián wants to spend his final days tying up loose ends. When childhood friend Tomás pays him an unexpected visit, the two men set out to finalize funeral arrangements, settle accounts and find a home for Julián's beloved dog, Truman.
