Virtual: SpaceX -- Birth Of Commercial Spaceflight
Thursday, May 19, 2022
For the past 20 years, Elon Musk has been building an enormous commercial spaceflight company. Unlike Boeing, United Launch Alliance, Blue Origin, or Virgin Galatic, SpaceX has revolutionized the space industry. While most the non-governmental efforts can be described charitably as ploddingly slow and painfully predictable, Musk and SpaceX have been surprising, bold, breathtakingly fast, and successful. Led by David S. Ball, a volunteer educator with NASA. As a Solar System Ambassador with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, he presents topics related to American activities in space.
