Virtual - Environmental Book Club: Watch "Living the Change" *For Adults
Tuesday, October 4, 2022
Please join us for the Environmental Book Club! Each month, we'll choose a topic related to climate change, sustainability, and/or what we can do to lessen our footprint. This month we'll be discussing the film "Living the Change: Inspiring Stories for a Sustainable Future."
PRIOR to the meeting, watch the documentary film "Living the Change" on Kanopy or on Hoopla - the library's online resources - and then come to the meeting prepared to discuss.
You will need an Ashland Public Library card or a Boston Public Library e-card to use Kanopy and Hoopla. Click here to access Kanopy, Hoopla, or for more info on the BPL e-card.
"Living the Change is a feature-length documentary that explores solutions to the global crises we face today through the inspiring stories of people pioneering change in their own lives and in their communities in order to live in a sustainable and regenerative way. Directors Jordan Osmond and Antoinette Wilson have brought together stories from their travels, along with interviews with experts able to explain how we come to be where we are today. From forest gardens to composting toilets, community supported agriculture to timebanking, Living the Change offers ways we can rethink our approach to how we live."
