Environmental Stewardship Through Sustainable Gardening

Join us to learn more about the concept of responsible use and protection of the natural environment through conservation and sustainable gardening practices. Casey E. Doyle, a premiere agriculture and soil scientist, will share sustainable gardening practices that cause no harm to the earth and reduce negative environmental impacts. Ms. Doyle will also discuss the importance of planting native species to save diversity in our gardens for the health and well-being for our pollinators and the environment.
About Casey Doyle:
Casey Doyle holds a Master of Science degree from Green Mountain College in Sustainable Food Systems. She is a registered presenter with the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) in the area of agriculture and environmental science.
This is an IN-PERSON program and we request that all participants register. This program is in collaboration with the Ashland Garden Club and the Friends of the Ashland Library. It is free and open to the public.
