Virtual: Looking Back At 1948 -- A Year of Presidential Decisions
Tuesday, March 28, 2023
75 years ago, President Truman faced a series of monumental decisions both at home and abroad. At home, he had to deal with a divided Democratic party in a Presidential Year. Abroad, he faced a crisis in the Middle East and a Cold War showdown in Berlin. Truman managed to come out of all this successfully and even navigated a surprise Presidential Election victory. Led by Mark P. Adams, Education Director of the Harry S. Truman Library & Museum.
