Due to medical advances and better self-care, we are experiencing a longevity revolution. People may live 30+ years past the “traditional” retirement age of 62 -65. This doesn’t necessarily mean longer “old age” but can be viewed as an extended “middle stage” of life.

    We are so pleased to be partnering with the Peabody Institute Library (Peabody, MA) to bring this book club for the LGBTQ+ community! and allies! If you are between the ages of 15-100 (yes, really!) and would like to chat about books that celebrate LGBTQ+ lives, and to use books as a springboard to discuss the challenges, we hope you can join us. This month's book selection is "Broken Horses" by Brandi Carlile. This book club will be facilitated by librarians from the LGBTQ+ community.
