Ashland Lions Community Shred-it Day

Shred confidential documents safely, securely, and for free! - Paper ONLY (staples are okay) - Max: 3 bankers boxes or 3 grocery bags per car - Limited to Ashland residents Donations to the Ashland Lions Club are appreciated. Eyeglasses, cell phones, and hearing aids will also be accepted. All donation proceeds will benefit local charities and Lions eye research.

Friends of the Ashland Public Library BOOK SALE!

Shoppers can start the day at the first Farmers’ Market of the season, then head over to the library to browse and buy from the huge collection of books and AV items, all generously donated by Ashland residents.

The Art of Journaling with Jim Eng *For Adults

Join sketchbook artist, Jim Eng, in a workshop where you will combine journaling with artwork. Jim's sketchbooks are on display at the library - come check them out before the program to get an idea of what you can do with a good book and a bit of creativity. If the weather cooperates, we'll go outside to write and draw.

Cookbook Club: "Joshua Weissman: An Unapologetic Cookbook" *For Adults

We're so excited to start a Cookbook Club at the Ashland Public Library! For this first meeting, to celebrate the harvest, we're cooking and eating from "An Unapologetic Cookbook by Joshua Weissman.

Saturday Needlecraft Club *For Adults

Bring your project (any portable needle arts welcome - knit, needlepoint, crochet, zentangle, quilting, sewing, etc!) to our casual gathering where you can work, talk, and share ideas together. We're trying two times - Mondays and Saturdays - for two months to see which is the best for our participants. At the end of October, we'll choose one to move forward.

Virtual - What's on Your TBR pile? with author KJ Charles *For Adults

We're thrilled to be starting this new monthly series - What's On Your TBR Pile? - with some of our favorite authors! TBR is "to be read" and we all have stacks we know we can't read in our lifetime. But, with a little help from our favorite authors, we can refine or (goodness!) add to our piles. Today we hear from author KJ Charles (who was the inspiration for this entire series!). Wonder what she's read and loved lately? Join us!
