The Ashland Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 7:15 PM via Zoom video conference at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87279122959?pwd=aFNwUzlScnNZNzhNU0RxVjdGYUQ3QT09, to hear the petition of the Town of Ashland c/o HKT Architects., requesting a Special Permit, Design Plan Review and Site Plan Review per Chapter 40A, Section 6 of the Massachusetts Zoning Act and Chapter 282, Sections 8.6 (Wildwood Mixed Use Special District), 9.3 (Special Permits), 5.3 (Site Alteration Special Permit), 9.6 (Design Plan Review) and 9.4 (Site Plan Review) of the Ashland Bylaws. The applicant is seeking a Special Permit for a new 42,000 s.f. 3-story public safety building, carport, trash enclosure and modular firing range for the Town of Ashland Police and Fire Departments. The property in question is located at 1 East Union, 12 and 16 Union Street, Assessors Map 15, Lots 76-78 in the Wildwood Mixed Use Special District, Area B.
